Teaching faculty and Research department

Throughout their programme at ESCIP, the students are supported by a dedicated teaching team.

Tutoring
This begins as soon as the students join ESCIP. The system acts to provide support in defining the students’ personal projects that gradually underpin their career plan.

In-company work placements are particularly important at ESCIP. Whether they take place in France or abroad, the school places exceptionally high emphasis on the work placements. Some activities like the sector-based projects and the dissertations receive twofold support from:

• the permanent teachers specialised in the fields concerned.
• the professional adjunct faculty who guide each work group through constructive reflection and discussion from the initial concept through to the final oral defence.

Through a tailored approach based on close relationships with the students and a personalised programme for everyone, ESCIP helps the students to build up their future professional itinerary. Over and above the recognition of its graduates in the workplace, the school is proud of its capacity to bring to the fore the inherent qualities of its students, enabling them to evolve in their chosen careers.

In the first and second year, Human Resource professionals help the students prepare for their search for work placements with CVs and letters of motivation in both French and foreign languages, simulation recruitment interviews, advice and individual monitoring.

In the fourth year, consultants specialised in executive head-hunting give courses in the ‘job-seeking strategy’ module. All the fourth year students are interviewed several times by Human Resource directors, consultants and company managers involved in recruitment. In the 5th year, the various heads of department advise and help the students to choose their project development internship. Lastly, ESCIP continues to support its graduates through regular posting of job offers and providing individual support if the graduate so wishes.

The research department
ESCIP lecturer-researchers take part in:

• national and international congresses and conferences (ECER-EERA, Biennial on Education, CLADEA, PFI-ENST...)
• Higher Education research projects organised by the European Community following calls for projects (Framework Project , Interreg III Project ...)

They are highly involved in a joint research project with Lille III University and the PROFEOR accueil team on the training of future company managers. They belong to the joint cross-disciplinary research network: ALENA-MERCOSUR-UE (Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Brazil...)
