From the very start with the selection juries for Admissions, the business world is closely involved with the teaching at ESCIP. Throughout their training, ESCIP students become familiar with the professional world via DOE (discovery and observation of Entreprises), a business simulation game (in the 1st and 5th year), presentation of different career opportunities, sector studies training for job interviews.
The quality of our relations with entreprises is at the heart of our strategy.
Our partner companies are present at each step of the student’s time with us. They participate in enhancing our teaching methods on a daily basis as well as giving financial support which is essential to our development.
In exchange for this support, the Department of Business Relations and Alumni helps them to recruit interns or future co-workers.
In order to select and train future managers, companies are involved in the admissions process. The strength of a business network is fundamental for an international business school. Thanks to these partnerships, companies contribute to our teaching and help us to reveal our graduates’ talents. Companies are present in a number of ways throughout the 5 year programme with professionals teaching in different disciplines. These exchanges are enhanced by numerous internships that students carry out during their studies.
For the 3rd year running, students from ESCIP School of International Business have taken part in the Lille World Forum, an international conference on the theme of socially responsible companies. This year, students will be proposing the Globetrotters’ game where the objective is to test the visitor’s knowledge of company best practices throughout the world while at the same time making them aware of the issues involved.
This Globetrotters game takes the form of a board game. For every correct answer, the corresponding square is validated.
The 25 international students following ESCIP’s exchange programme thought up the questions based on best practices in socially responsible companies in their respective countries. This year they come from our partner universities in the following countries: Argentina, Belgium, China, Chile, Croatia, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Slovakia, Taiwan and Turkey.
ESCIP School of International Business is convinced of the importance of raising future managers’ awareness in order to make the economic world a more responsible one. With this in mind, it added the course of Sustainable Development to its curriculum 2 years ago.
